The standard medical isotope case: proton bombardment of enriched Mo-100 to produce Tc-99m for SPECT imaging.
- Beam: 16 MeV protons, 0.15 mA
- Target: Enriched Mo-100 (10.22 g/cm³)
- Energy window: 16 → 12 MeV
- Irradiation: 1 day
- Expected Tc-99m activity: ~262 GBq after 1 day cooling
F-18 via p + O-18¶

Validation status
Use cases marked with reference values have been validated against ISOTOPIA-2.1 output. Deviations ≤5% are expected due to improved stopping power tables.
